Our Pulp Story

What Happens to All That Pulp?!

Each week we wash and press nearly 1000 lbs of fresh produce to make your juice, which means we’re left with a whole lot of pulp and citrus rinds.

Instead of letting any of that goodness go to waste, we work with amazing local Vancouver Island farmers who pick up 98% of our by-product. The pulp becomes nutritious feed for their animals, and the coffee and citrus rinds are composted to enrich their soil.

And we even use some of that pulp right here at Good Life. The veggie pulp from our Supa Greens juice gets transformed into our delicious Crunchy Superfood Granola. Zero waste never tasted so good!

It’s a full-circle thing. Plants nourish you, then nourish the land, and help grow more plants. Good for you. Good for local farms. Good for the planet.
