The Every Day Salad Recipe

When I came across this trending recipe on social, it grabbed my attention. The claim someone could eat the same salad every day is incredibly high praise! (@mizzerybell is where I found the recipe). I first made it 2 months ago, and although I don’t make it every day, I can honestly say I have made it once every week!

It is incredibly fresh, light & flavourful. It pairs well with tons of different dishes, but especially greek dishes thanks to the lemon & dill.

With only a few ingredients in both the salad and the dressing, it’s incredibly quick to make!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Heads romaine

  • 4 Green onions

  • 1 Handful of fresh dill

  • 1/3 cup Feta cheese

DRESSING

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1/4 cup Virgin olive oil

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

DIRECTIONS

  • Chop or tear lettuce into bite size pieces, finely chop the green onions and dill, crumble feta and add all of the ingredients to a bowl.

  • Make the dressing by adding all of the ingredients to a separate bowl and whisking them together.

  • Pour some of the yummy dressing over your greens (taste to see if it is dressed to you liking), mix and enjoy!
